DANIEL CHAI (TRIBE MEMBER):
Daniel Chai is excited to be performing with Fighting Chance Productions for the first time in Hair. Most recently seen onstage in Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s production of HMS Pinafore, Daniel also performs regularly with comedy troupe Urban Improv and Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society (under the stage name Chai Tea). A long-time lover of musical theatre, Daniel is honoured to share the stage and raise his voice with so many talented performers in Hair. He hopes that Vancouver enjoys the new dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
MICHELLE BARDACH (TRIBE MEMBER): Michelle Bardach is
currently enrolled in the Capilano University Musical Theatre Diploma Program. Though still relatively new to the musical theatre industry in Vancouver, Michelle has played “Helen” in The Trojan Women by Euripides, and “Titania” in Henry Purcell’s operetta, The Fairy Queen. She has trained in singing, acting and dance since she was a child, and is extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to perform in the tribe of Hair.
SARAH WOLFMAN-ROBICHAUD (TRIBE MEMBER): Sarah moved Vancouver to pursue her MA in Drama Education and is thrilled to be breaking her multi-year musical hiatus with FCP. In addition to performing, Sarah’s passion is using drama as a social justice outreach method with elementary-aged children. Favourite credits include: Falsettos (Trina), Peter Pan (Peter), Assassins (Moore),
as well as many Off-off Broadway shows in New York. This is her second go at Hair, 10 years after her first time as music director and tribe member – and she couldn’t be more ready to enjoy the message and music once again. Thank you to all her loved ones for the support in “getting back up on that stage.”
SEAN PARSONS (BERGER): Sean is yet again so thrilled to be working with FCP on his third production with the company in the past year, starting with RENT last summer (Ensemble, Benny & Angel U/S) and just finishing The Wedding Singer (George). Having just graduated from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program in April, Sean cannot express his gratitude to already have worked on two shows since then, and would like to sincerely thank Ryan for such amazing opportunities. Some recent credits at Capilano include The Threepenny Opera (Smith & Reverend Kimball), Romeo & Juliet (Lord Capulet), and Footloose (Reverend Shaw Moore). He sends so much love to all the beautiful beasts in his life. You’re the beast!
ANNA HASSARD (TRIBE): Anna began performing in Saskatoon, SK where she danced for many years. An acting class at the University of Saskatchewan prompted her to audition for the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC where she obtained her Diploma. Since moving to Vancouver Anna has worked as an Actor, Singer, Dancer, Choreographer and of course, a waitress. She will also try her hand at producing in October with the Pulitzer Prize nominated play Boys’ Life at Little Mountain Studios. Recent performance credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
