FIGHTING CHANCE PRODUCTIONS – GENERAL AUDITIONS, 2010/11 Season

Show Dates: Sweeney Todd (October, 2010 at Jericho Arts Centre), The Lieutenant of Inishmore (February, 2011 at VECC Culture Lab), The Wiz (April, 2011 at Performance Works), Bare (August, 2011 at Waterfront Theatre)

Due to the large number of applications, please note not everyone will be considered for an audition. We are hoping to cast both Sweeney Todd, Lieutenant of Inishmore and Uncommon Women (and Others) during these auditions and hope to cast a majority of the leads for The Wiz and Bare as well. If you are unable to make the auditions or are not in town, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. Required: For musical auditions: 1 Sondheim song and 1 contemporary musical theatre song. For play auditions: 1 monologue and cold-read from the play.

Specifics About Each Show:
Sweeney Todd: Required 9M, 7F. Directed by Ryan Mooney, Musical Direction by Vashti Fairbairn. Rehearsals start on or around September 13th. Show runs October 13th – October 30th at the Jericho Arts Centre. Looking for a vocally strong cast.
The Lieutenant of Inishmore: Required 8M, 1F. Directed by Matt Clarke. Rehearsals start on or around January 16th. Show runs February 16th – 26th at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre Culture Lab.
The Wiz: Required 8M, 8F. Directed by Ryan Mooney. Rehearsals start on or around March 16th. Show runs April 16th – April 30th at Performance Works.
Uncommon Women (And Others): Required 9F. Directed by Jacqueline Bennett. Rehearsals start on or around April 30th. Show runs May 31st – June 4th at the PAL Theatre.
Bare: Required 8M, 8F. Directed by Ryan Mooney. Rehearsals start on or around July 1st. Show runs August 1st – 13th, 2010 at the Waterfront Theatre
