Aaron Lau (Ensemble): Aaron is excited to be in his second FCP show, after having recently been seen in FCP’s January production of Forbidden Broadway. A former student at Cap U’s theatre program, Aaron has been seen all over Vancouver in numerous musicals including Chad Danforth in HSM 1 & 2 (URP), 5 seasons with TUTS (2010 Aida Broadbent Award winner for his role as Ching Ho in Millie), as well as Pepe in RCMT’s West Side Story. He’d like to thank Ryan, Chris and Anna for their faith in his abilities, and hopes that those of you who lived thru the 80′s will enjoy it all over again! I know I did!

Amanda Williamson (Ensemble): Amanda is a graduate of the musical theatre diploma program at Capilano University. Most recently, she was performing in the Oh Canada Eh?! Her favourite credits include Dorothy in The Wiz (Exit 22), Sharpay in High School Musical (URP), Sue in Sue and Clyde (Footlight) and Tricia in Dog Sees God (Delinquent). She wants to thank you for coming out and hopes you can flashback to the 80s and rock out with The Wedding Singer cast.

Jenny Moase (Ensemble): Recently graduated from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program, The Wedding Singer marks Jenny’s first show with Fighting Chance Productions; and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be working on one of her favourite childhood movies turned musical. All those days of turning the old wood-paneled TV to max for such numbers as “Grow Old With You” is finally paying off with the opportunity to be a part of this fun show. Past credits include Alice in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Barkerville’s Gold Rush Revue, Jenny in The Threepenny Opera, Polyxena in The Trojan Women, Fairy in the Mirror in The Ash Girl, K.T. in Merrily We Roll Along, and Rizzo in Grease. Outside of rehearsals, Justin spends time on his new –  and finally actualized - gymnastics hobby, reading, watching the last batch of LOST episodes (ever) and auditioning for the next thing! Justin is having a great time working on The Wedding Singer and the only thing keeping him completely down when the show run is over is the start of summer 2010! Thanks for your support of the show!

Tyson Coady (Glen Guglia): Tyson is super excited to be playing Glen Guglia in Fighting Chance’s production of The Wedding Singer. Tyson is thrilled he didn’t have to choose between his last production; Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the Wedding Singer, which rehearsed simultaneously with just a two day break between runs! If you didn’t see Tyson in Joseph as brother Issachar and the Butler, you may have also seen him in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Vancouver Playhouse, Merrily We Roll Along with APPLAUSE!, or even as Roger (Understudy), the Man, and Gordon in Fighting Chance’s production of RENT last Summer! Tyson would like to thank his parents and his girlfriend Kirsten, for all their support.

This is Sean’s first production as a graduate from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program, having just finished a run of Footloose (Reverend Shaw) and Romeo & Juliet (Lord Capulet) in the fall semester. Over the next two weeks we’ll be introducing you to the cast of our upcoming production of THE WEDDING SINGER playing April 27th – May 22nd, 2010.

Keri Smith (Ensemble): This is Keri’s second show with Fighting Chance Productions and is so grateful to them for their willingness to bring new and exciting shows to Vancouver. A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, Keri now lives in Vancouver and has had the opportunity to portray some wonderful characters including include: Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers, Mary in Merrily We Roll Along, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense and Lucille in Parade. She sends a huge hug and kiss to her Mom, Dad, Tony, Ryan and Pickle!

Cesar Erba (Ensemble): Cesar is excited to be back and doing another show with Fighting Chance Productions. Even though Cesar has just entered the Vancouver theatre scene last year he is grateful for the opportunities that have arisen so far. Recently Cesar  received a Gypsy Male nomination at the 2009 Ovation Awards for his chorus work in URP’s High School Musical 2: On Stage, and more known for his role as Angel in Fighting Chance’s RENT. You might have also caught Cesar in Feburary dancing for URP’s The Canadian Winter Sport Showcase during the Olympics. There is nothing lined up for Cesar after The Wedding Singer just yet, but in Vancouver anything is possible with a little faith. Who knows, maybe a film? With Cesar the sky is the limit!

Chelsea Powrie (Ensemble): Chelsea is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful cast of The Wedding Singer. She has most recently been seen as “Kelsi” in HSM 2 (URP), “Gloria” in Thoroughly Modern Millie (TUTS), “Chiffon” in Little Shop of Horrors (URP), “Ida” in Honk! (Arts Umbrella), and “Millie” in Thoroughly Modern Millie (PW Secondary). She has also recently begun choreographing, currently at work on Little Shop of Horrors at Prince of Wales Secondary. When she’s not on stage, Chelsea is busy pursuing a degree in history at UBC. She would like to thank Fighting Chance for this opportunity!

Marianne Mandrusiak (Ensemble): Originally from Edmonton, Marianne moved to Vancouver to pursue the performing arts and danced with the Source Dance Company and the B.C. Lions before leaving the west coast to perform on cruise ships. She graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria and then moved to Toronto to perform with the Fly By Night Theatre Company. Marianne was born in the 80′s, sometimes still dresses like she’s in the 80′s and unabashedly listens to 80′s music on a regular basis. You can imagine what a thrill it was to be cast in The Wedding Singer, not only for the plethora of 80′s tunes, but also to be able to work with the fun and talented cast and crew!

Over the next two weeks we’ll be introducing you to the cast of our upcoming production of THE WEDDING SINGER playing April 27th – May 22nd, 2010.

Andrew Halliwell (Robbie Hart): This is Andrew’s debut with FCP as Robbie Hart in the Wedding Singer. The nepotistical nature in which Andrew was cast in this role may seem shady at first; however, it was Andrew who first inspired Ryan to form his own theatre company when they were roommates after graduating from drama school together. So, in lieu of that, Andrew humbly and gratefully accepts this role as fair recompense. He is honoured to be included with the many talented individuals who are a part of this production.

Lexy Campbell (Julia Sullivan): Lexy is ecstatic to be playing the role of Julia Guglia in her Fighting Chance debut! Lexy recently returned to Vancouver’s theatre scene after completing her BFA in Theatre Performance at Concordia University in Montreal.  She also worked with the McGill Arts Undergraduate Theatre Society playing the roles of Hope Cladwell in Urinetown and Sheila Franklin in Hair.  Previously in Vancouver, Lexy played the title role in Cinderella (Metro Theatre), appeared in Footloose and Big: The Musical (TUTS), and was most recently seen as Peaches in Disney’s High School Musical 2 (URP).  Lexy is thrilled to finally be a part of the Fighting Chance family and would like to thank Ryan and Chris for their support and for giving her this incredible opportunity.

Sable Strub (Angie/Ensemble): Sable is a Graduate of the Capilano Musical Theatre program and is very excited to be taking part in her very first Fighting Change Production. Sable loves the 80′s and is having so much fun with a great cast of people. Please feel free to rock out in your seats!

Spencer Snashall (Ensemble): Spencer is an actor, singer, dancer, director and teacher. He began his career of stage and screen at the age of 9 in Ottawa Ontario. A graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Spencer has had the privilege of working and training with amazing industry professionals, such as: Karen Cain, Jeff Hyslop, Kate Twa, JR Bourne, and Oscar Nominated Actress Laura Linney. Spencer is currently a teacher at the Gateway Academy in Richmond BC.

Linda started dancing at the age of four, later earning her membership in the Royal Academy (ballet) and competing in ballroom dance. Continuing her formal studies at the University of BC, she studied theatre and earned a degree in education.  Throughout her career,  Linda has directed, choreographed, and conducted student performances.  She has recorded and written original scripts, stories, and songs for educators and publishers in both English and French.  In addition, she has continued to study voice and has performed as a soloist and with various church and community choirs (especially enjoying “Handel’s Messiah”).   This is Linda’s first season with Fighting Chance Productions, and she is absolutely thrilled to play Rosie, the feisty granny (who sings and dances through the octogenarian years–as is Linda’s hope for herself).
